Gin & Tonic
A classic Gin and Tonic is a harmonious blend of gin’s botanical complexity and the crisp, refreshing bite of tonic water. It’s an iconic, timeless cocktail that embodies simplicity and sophistication.
Ingredients
- 60ml Matopos London Dry Gin
- 180ml Tonic Water
- Fresh Lime Or Lemon Wedges
- Ice Cubes
- Optional garnish: a sprig of fresh herbs (e.g., rosemary or basil) or a slice of cucumber.
Method
- Select a highball or balloon glass and fil it with ice cubes
- Pour 60ml of Matopos Gin over the ice
- Squeeze a wedge of fresh lime or lemon directly into the glass to release the citrus oils
- Slowly pour 120 - 180ml of tonic water. Adjust to suit your taste
- Stir Gently to avoid excessive fizz
- Garnish your G&T with a sprig of fresh herbs, a slice of cucumber or an additional citrus wedge
